I worked at Equator Flowers (a flower farm in the neighborhood of Ilula, Kenya) for 8 years. At times, ELI teams would come to minister at the flower farm and I got to know the organization well. In 2006, the flower farm wanted to transfer me to Mombasa. Not wanting to be separated from my family, I refused the transfer and resigned from my job, knowing that God had something else in mind for my life. At that time, ELI was looking to hire a Kenyan Director of Operations to oversee ELI Kenya's various ministries, budgets, and general operations. This was an answer to prayer and I took the job and have been with ELI ever since.
