Each year the Kipkaren River Training Center offers a life-changing experience called the Sustainable Agriculture and Community Development Program. Thirty students from various areas of East Africa are selected to invest nine months of their lives in hands-on trainings, including bio-intensive agriculture, animal care, bee keeping, small business skills, health care, nutrition, and spiritual growth. The students are empowered to transform their lives, families, and communities with the education they receive as they return to their communities after graduation to pass this knowledge on to others. The effects of this program, both seen and unseen, grow exponentially as more and more lives are empowered.
