Neema Byamungu
Neema Byamungu, a mother of six whose children all studied at the ELI Academy in DR Congo, is a powerful example of how one transformed life can impact an entire community. Before joining ELI’s World Changers Parent Training, Neema struggled to manage her income. Without financial skills, the money she earned quickly disappeared, leaving her family with constant needs and little hope for progress. Life felt heavy, and providing for her children was a daily challenge.
“Before the training, I did not know how to manage the money I worked so hard for. I used it without seeing results.”
Then, everything began to change through the World Changers Training! Neema gained practical skills in areas like budgeting, saving, business planning, and problem solving, alongside spiritual encouragement that solidified her confidence and faith.

With renewed courage, Neema launched a small business selling construction materials in her community. Over time, her success brought stability back to her family and opened doors she never imagined possible. And her transformation didn’t stop there! Neema began encouraging friends and family to start businesses of their own, sharing what she learned from ELI training. One changed life quickly became many.
“Thank you, ELI, for empowering us with new knowledge and skills. Poverty is being defeated, and my life is an example of the impact of your generosity—bringing real change, real empowerment, and real hope to families who once struggled in silence. Your support is helping people like me to rise with dignity, build better futures, and inspire others in their communities.”
Today, Neema’s home is marked by dignity, stability, and joy—a true Home of Hope. Thank you for empowering women like Neema and helping families rise with dignity, hope, and lasting change!
