Cynthia Cherono
Cynthia Cherono’s life changed dramatically when she lost her mother in a tragic accident in 2016. With no family able to provide the stable care she needed; Cynthia faced an uncertain future. A kind neighbor and members of a local Church saw her need and helped support Cynthia’s education, but she still lacked a safe, stable place to call home.
That changed when, through a God-ordained connection, Cynthia was welcomed into ELI’s Kipkaren Children’s Home! Surrounded by consistent care, encouragement, and the love of Jesus, she has been given the opportunity to thrive. Now in 8th grade at Brook of Faith Academy, Cynthia is growing academically, spiritually, and personally.
Cynthia is a born-again Christian who has been baptized and loves sharing God’s Word with others. She also enjoys leading worship through song and has developed skills in beading, knitting, and cooking! Known for being responsible and hardworking, she is growing into a confident young leader with a true heart for the Lord.
Cynthia’s journey is a beautiful reminder of how God can work through hope, faith, and community to bring transformation to a child’s life. Because of faithful sponsors and supporters like you, Cynthia is building a brighter future and growing into the young woman God created her to be. Thank you for being part of her story!
