Festus Kiptoo Kimaiyo
At just 28 years old, Festus Kiptoo Kimaiyo’s life is already a testament to the power of faith, mentorship, and perseverance. Raised at our Kipkaren Children’s Home from the age of nine, Festus was nurtured in integrity, perseverance, and the Word of God—values that continue to shape his life and career.

After excelling at Brook of Faith Academy and Concord Boys High School, Festus graduated with honors in Clinical Nutrition from Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology, an achievement that once seemed impossible! Soon after, he began using his skills to serve the community at Living Room Hospital, where he provided nutritional care and support to patients in need. Then, he spent two years at Iten County Referral Hospital, where he served across multiple wards and discovered his deep calling to help people live healthier lives.
Today, Festus is the Nairobi Regional Renal Nutritionist for Africa Healthcare Network, overseeing nutritional care across seven hospitals and counseling over 250 dialysis patients each month! Guided by his faith, his work goes beyond physical healing. He also shares the Gospel of God with patients, and many have found spiritual renewal through his influence.
Festus credits his ELI family, including his house parents, siblings, sponsors, and counselors, with laying the foundation for his success. Now, he’s committed to mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals from the Kipkaren Children’s Home who are passionate about pursuing a medical career, guiding them to achieve excellence and serve God through their vocations.
His life is anchored in Colossians 3:23, a verse he lives out daily as a healer, mentor, and ambassador of hope: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters…” We couldn’t be more proud and we can’t wait to see how God continues to work through Festus’ life in powerful ways!
