Mercy Jepleting
Mercy joined the Kipkaren Children’s Home in 2016, and her arrival was truly a gift from God! As the youngest of nine siblings, her early years came with great challenges, but the moment Mercy stepped into the ELI family, she found a place of safety, love, and new beginnings. Her brother Elvis, who was already at the home, was overjoyed to be reunited with her, and together they began a new chapter filled with hope!
Since then, Mercy has grown in incredible ways. When Mercy first arrived, she spoke only her mother tongue, Nandi. With courage, determination, and lots of encouragement, she learned both Swahili and English and now speaks them confidently. We are so proud of how far she has come!
Mercy’s joyful personality shines brightly every day. She is happy, playful, and friendly, and she has a special way of making everyone feel welcome. She loves learning new things and has developed skills in knitting, beading, and baking. You will often find her laughing with friends or caring for her younger siblings with so much love and tenderness.
Her faith is just as beautiful as her joy! Mercy often lifts up her family in prayer, trusting God with her whole heart. Her kindness, compassion, and faithful spirit make her a blessing to everyone around her and a wonderful example of Christ’s love in action. We truly see God’s fingerprint in every way she has blossomed over the years, whether it’s academically, personally, or spiritually.
Mercy’s journey is a powerful reminder of what God can do through love, opportunity, and faithful support. Because of generous sponsors and partners, she is now thriving, growing in confidence, and dreaming big for her future! Thank you for being part of Mercy’s story and for helping her smile shine brighter every day.
