As a child, Omari Kisanya never thought he would be able to pursue his passions, go to school, or have a successful future. Instead, he spent his days worrying about how he would get his next meal and where he would sleep each night. He was living a life full of hardship…but change was on the horizon! 

Just when all hope seemed lost, ELI was able to step in and provide Omari with all of the things he had once dreamed of. He was clothed, fed, spiritually nourished, and accepted into a loving family to call his own. Omari now had the well-deserved chance to not only see his full potential, but reach it.  

Once he began attending school, Omari developed a deep desire to excel in everything he did. He quickly displayed an outstanding intelligence and continued to work hard in all his classes, which paid off! Omari eventually secured the grades needed to pursue a course in Education at Kenya Methodist University. As he awaits graduation, Omari began student teaching at a high school in Kenya. Here he will be able to empower young students and ignite World Changers like himself!  

Omari is forever grateful for God’s gift of grace and for the joy he has found. We couldn’t be prouder of the strong, passionate, and faithful young man he has become! Although there was a time he never dreamed it was possible, Omari is now well on his way to having a bright, successful, and hope-filled future.
